Comments: This is important for the health of our childrens' futures! Everyone should be able to afford to feed their children a healthy balanced diet. Not signing the bill would only hurt our nation in several different ways.

Comments: As a public health practitioner, and food security researcher, I see the need for healthy, fresh food among America's low-income daily. As an Iowan, I see farmers struggling to compete against agri-business and to create innovative, healthy farming operations in the face of the significant aid given to large-scale producers at the expense of the independent family farm.

Comments: I would like to see the farmers who produce the healthy foods such as tomatoes, onions, berries, grains, fruit and peppers receive the majority of the money provided by the Farm Bill. This lopsided system is not promoting healthy individuals. It is promoting a profit for those who will gain from ethanol and other byproducts of corn and soybeans. Thank you. Sincerely, Thelma Ballou
