This petition is a formal request of CCO Full-Time Senior Service Representative's, to the Director's and Work Force Management Team Leads at Sacramento Contact Center. Per our Union Agreement; The Support Team as a whole, request the approved option of 4/10 shifts (four ten-hour days per weekly schedule) be made available immediately. WFM employee's currently working 4/10 shift schedules, which, in-turn, must be made available to other Full-Time employee's. The number of Full-Time SSR's is significantly larger than in prior years, now home to 30 active employee's. Additional SSR's will soon join us upon the closure of the SJCC as well. The role of WFM is to provide, monitor and forecast staffing to it's best ability, we are sure their skills and analysis will create and include 4/10 shifts for all interested SSR's. Positive Results and Incentives of 4/10 shift schedules are; 1. Safety! Significant reduction of commute hours will reduce auto accidents and auto incidents (flat tires, car problems, dead batteries, etc.) that occur frequently driving to and from the workplace. 2. Immediate relief for employee life/work balance. 3. Immediate increase in attendance. 4. "Be Here For Your Peer" campaign will meet & exceed goals. Please include 4/10 shift schedules for 2011.
