Dear Friends, The events that occurred during and after the 2009 Presidential elections in Iran has surfaced significant turmoil and unrest. Spearheading this turmoil and unrest are claims of unethical and corrupt practices. Presidential nominee, Mr. Mir-Hossein Mousavi and his supporters both within Iran and abroad are asking the Interior Ministry to conduct a full investigation in regards to these claims. However, their request has been ignored. This petition is a united voice of all Iranians, in particular Iranian expatriates living throughout the world. It is to express our concerns towards the outcome of the election. It is our demand that the Interior Ministry conducts a full and public investigation. Furthermore, we call on the Interior Ministry to prescribe action plans that would ensure that the election process is conducted through democratic and ethical means and measures. I urge you to sign and support this petition and pass it along so we can establish a united voice. A voice that embraces the functions of democracy, such as fair elections, and opposes any apparatus that would attempt to interfere with such processes from taking place.
