Petition to the City of Santa Cruz
Development at 170 Frederick St., bordering Frederick St. Park

We, the undersigned users of Frederick St. Park and residents of the area, strongly believe that:
Unusually dense development of 170 Frederick St. does not respect the character of the neighborhood.
Development of the site will significantly affect our treasured park environment, especially by boxing it in and blocking scenic views of Arana Gulch.
Frederick St. is an especially sensitive traffic area, as dense development at its south end has already made the road unsafe.
The City should acquire the property to expand the park.
