We, the undersigned, are Treasure Island property owners in good standing and do hereby state that we support the proposed demolition of the property located at 13007 Jolly Roger Dr, Freeport Tx 77541. the above property has been in total disrepair for many, many years and was recently determined structurally unsound by the county engineer's office. Not only is it an eyesore and a blight to our neighborhood, it is a dangerous structure with outside walls missing inviting vagrants and rodents, both criteria for abatement under county guidelines. Our property values continue to be negatively affected by this disintegrating property. The owner has blatantly ignored all requests by her neighbors and county officials to remedy this visibally abandoned and neglected property. We implore our county judge listen to the residents of Treasure Island and approve removal of this eyesore. We do not want this blight to set an example in our beloved community
