| 1 | Imee Jackson | I hope the protest to the 125th St Rezoning Proposal will usher in positrive changes in the way city governemnt works with communities |

| 4 | John B. Horne | I fear that this plan will ultimately lead to the total displacement of the majority of Harlem residents of African descent by upper middle income European Americans who do not wish to commute for the requizite 2 to 3 hours on the freeways. In short, to return the area to the "color" it was when it was called Haarlem, but, not the ethnicity. |

| 9 | K. Samuels | The "devil is in the details". This modified plan by Council Member Inez Dickens is not in the best interest of the Village of Harlem. It presents a pseudo sweet aroma to divert the community's attention long enough to hold off any meaningful protest to its particulars. The desires of Developers appear to have more weight than the needs of the community. [This happened in - the Valley - in North Harlem regarding a Multiuse Facility and New Library]. When someone decides to sell their 19 story air rights will the community see 38 story buildings on 125th St?? Think so, what is in this plan to protect us from that!! |

| 11 | Patti Jacobs | Disappointed! The modications falls short in the areas of income targeted housing, height restrictions, historical and cultural preservation environmental protection and education.
It was my hope and prayer that leadership would protect the Community not Development! |

| 19 | Kenneth L Radcliffe | Make all of HARLEM from 110th street to 155 th street and from 5th ave to St, Nicholas a Historic Land mark not unlike Williamsburgh, VA, a Historic Landmark!

| 21 | Tom DeMott | this sell out deal does not even account for 29 percent affordable housing, if you look at the income levels in CB 10, it might be closer to 15 percent max |

| 24 | Donald H. Smith, Ph.D. | Harlem is historically the center of the African world in the United States. The resilience of Harlem's residents to survive in spite of racist oppression and Black political complicity is a tribute to our spiritual and cultural strength. We must call upon our strength and that of our ancestors to resist gentrification and corporate greed. We must organize and demand the right of return of present Harlem residents and of Harlem businesses. and we must demand substantial preferential housing provisions for those returning residents .
Harlem must remain the citadel of the African world. |

| 28 | marc mandeng | It seems that all along, the interests and aspirations of Harlem residents were secondary to those of high-end developers and business interests. Is New York City is a democracy or a plutocracy? |
| 29 | Lydgia Pass | Change is evident. Displacement of the "little guy" should not be. The 125th Street ReZoning plan will change the face of the corridor and that of the entire Harlem community. I strongly oppose the proposal as it stands now. |

| 35 | sundiata sadiq | As a former NAACP president in Ossining that is fighting the gentrification of our community and the 12 million dollar scheme to build a museum inside Sing Sing to attract tourists our suspended chapter has joined with others to prevent million dollar condos from taking our river front and homes. I cannot understand NAACP Chapters in New York supporting this land grab of the Harlem community. |

| 39 | Tom Kappneer | only about 200 units of income targeted housing while approving over 3,700 so-called market (really, luxury) units. There is some serious imbalance here that promotes the further gentrification of Harlem. |

| 43 | Isis Ausar | Enough is enough. Stop gentrification. Start cultural community revitlization which remembers the history of Harlem USA and why so many international & domestic vistors come to our unique village. |

| 46 | Karen Woodson | The re-zoning of 125th Street is not for the present occupants of Harlem. It has been designed for the incoming buppies and yuppies. Let us not forget the history of Harlem and the people it has represented for the past 50 years only. |
| 47 | Gunthar Stroman | |
| 48 | kwesi's dad | please don't edestroy harlem!! |
| 49 | Irene Staton | I do not support the plan that has been offered for the rezoning of 125th street. I grew up in Harlem. My family members have been active members of the Harlem community since the early 1900s. The Black culture of Harlem is what brings bus loads of tourists to the area. It is a shame that now when Harlem is being restored those who stayed through the good and bad are being forced to leave. This plan does not offer long term Harlem residents the opportunity to be included in the rejuvenation. We can do better than this. Don't pretend to listen and then do what you want to do anyway. Listen to and work with the Harlem community. |
