Name: Love Verrerie on Jun 20, 2008Comments: How can anyone call this a heroic deed that these men placed upon these people. It is another example of the cruelty, hatred, and disregard for another fellow human being. And for them to be proud of receiving these medals is even worse. They deserve to be in prison for their actions. That's where they have put our fellow brothers and that is for trumpedup charges. Our brothers are innocent of the things they say they have done. But these cowards have been patted on the back for a shameful deed. Shame on all of you who have been a part of this. Shame on all of you who care so little for the other person. Hmmmm, how courageous will you be when you have to pay for your disregard of the other children of the Great One Hmmmmm, I wonder if you really know how evil you really are And shame upon our government for rewarding you for your hatred, pain and suffering that you inflicted upon people, who had more right than you did to be here. Yes, shame on you, and shame on your families if they go along with this. I could go on and on about the worthlessness of this, but to do so would be giving you the recognition from me you absolutely don't deserve. I end by saying, even a snake stands higher than you.Flag

Set this genocide of women and children in its true historical context "The Army took revenge on innocent people for the rightfull killing of an insane mad man, General George Armstrong Custer!Flag

Name: William C Cook on Jun 20, 2008Comments: Any award for such a shameful act of hostility is an outrageous insult on all humanity. It is also a slap in the face of all that truly deserve such high recognition. It should be painfully obvious that these medals were merely a disgraceful attempt to justify yet another act in the continued attempt at the genocide of the original landlords of this hemisphere. It is appalling that these meals have not already been rescinded and said pennant destroyed. Respectfully, William CookFlag

It has happened for many yers that the Native Americans have been killed. One thing to remember this is borrowed land and doesn't belong to anyone. Leave our people live in peace..Flag

Name: Dan Erickson on Jun 20, 2008Comments: The massacre of the natives in this incident is reprehensible, and the awarding of medals of honor to soldiers that struck down unarmed natives goes against every grain of my belief in humanity. Regardless of the color of their skin we are all humans walking this earth, and have been put here by the great Creator to be stewarts of this earth and mankind. This was not an incident of honor for the the 7th Calvary, but rather an incident of dishonor for the felling of inocent human beings on this earth. I am ashamed to be a white man when I read accountings of this type of genocide.Flag

Name: Robert J. Humphrey on Jun 20, 2008Comments: The wholesale slaughter and torture of innocents has sadly been a recurring theme from the earliest history of this nation all the way through to (and including) this present period, and horrible cost in terms of human lives and unimaginable suffering is an absolute nightmare. From Native Americans to Blacks who were kidnapped and delivered as slaves from Liberia, the Japanese families who were uprooted and imprisoned due only to the fact that they were Japanese, and so countless many others along the way. When will the mindless insanity ever stop And for how long must the suffering continue even as the death toll continues to climbFlag
