| 3457 | Karen DiPietro | I am a former high school social studies teacher and have visited Wounded Knee. I believe Native American people have the right to practice their religion without the interference of the 7th Calvary. I also wish that the 7th Calvary was not part of our history at all. May the Creator bless those who died at Wounded Knee. Bless them... |

| 3474 | janet hilton ( UK ) | How my heart cries out for the injustices done to the peoples of the First Nation. The greed of man has destroyed so much. The medals given for the masssacre of Wounded Knee is just rubbing salt into the wound. It is time to face the wrong-doiongs and start to make things right. Would you give medals to the terrorists of 9/11 ? |

| 3484 | Mark redfox Payne | To kill soo many just because is not right. I know this was another time in history, let history know wounds can be healed. Make a new history by doing what no one else has the courage to do. Or is the US gov. just that weak? Onen |
| 3485 | Pauline Kerwath | There is bravery and there is courage in battle, and for these things, the Medal of Honor is awarded. But the slaying of innocent people, including children, does not demand bravery and courage. It demands a kind of moral sickness and base cruelty, and medals of honor should not have been given for the acts that occurred on December 29, 1890.
Those who were so honored then were falsely honored, while those who have received medals of honor for acts of real bravery and moral courage are lessened by this. |
| 3486 | Anonymous | And this is what they call civilization? One should be going after the records of these soldiers who shot and killed innocent women children and men, and making those families aware that the history that these people have caused is still haunting the families that were effected with such a brutal crime.
That would be a good start then the US Government, like this petition has outlined. |

| 3497 | Anna Kirykowicz | |
| 3498 | Barbara Low | We are still alive.
We are not going away.
Time for the U.S. to come clean here. |
| 3499 | Karen Hyorth | Native American were butchered without cause at Wounded Knee. I am deeply offended that those behind the massacre received Medal of Honor in the first place. Everyone of those medals should be rescinded immediately. |
| 3500 | Anonymous | It is with great honor for me to sign this petition, for I also have Indian blood in my veins and it cries. |
