Four-step guide to creating an online petition. It's
quick and easy: your cause can be on the web in less
than 5 minutes.
1. JOIN IPETITIONS: To host a petition, you first need
to become an iPetitions member. Click
here or on the "Join iPetitions" button on the
home page to get a user name and password.
2. GO TO "ADD PETITION": Make sure you're logged in
with your user name and password (if you've just
joined as a member, you're automatically logged in).
Then click on the "Add Petition" button on the
navigation bar.
3. CHOOSE WHAT KIND OF PETITION: The "Add Petition"
page lets you choose what kind of petition you want to
host. The simplest solution is our "Quick
Petition"--all you have to do is fill in a few fields.
If you want to use your own design and are familiar
with basic HTML, you can use our "Custom Petition."
(Custom Petitions are only open to paying Premium

4. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS: Once you've chosen what
kind of petition you want, just follow the on-screen
instructions.
That's it! If you've followed all the instructions,
your petition should now be live, and anyone on the
web can support your campaign. Now it's all up to you:
make sure to publicize your petition by sending emails
to your friends and relatives. We highly recommend reading

Remember that you can keep track of your petition, and
customize the questions you ask visitors, by logging
in and visiting the Control Panel.
