StefDe CockGhentBEYes, I know, my family name sounds strange, but in Belgium there is nothing strange about it. Also in Belgium, there is great concern about the uncontrolled installation of gsm-/umts-/wimax-/dvb-h/wlan/--- antennas everywhere in our town. There is need for a European approach of this problem to protect us and the future generations against the "asbest" of the 21st century.
DeNicaFairmanWimbledonGBI think U are doing a wonderful job. thank you for being there mast sanity to keep us SANE in this CHAOS of Mobile madness!
AnonymousAnonymousWallaseyIts time that we the British Public had a say in were masts are placed. They should be well away from residential areas, hospitals and schools.

AnonymousAnonymousblackrodGBA third generation mobile will be erected within 100m of my house. I have two children and do not wish to risk their health. I feel the government should stop mobile companies using the general public as guinea pigs.
VincentWillcoxMilton KeynesGBO2 have a TETRA mast (TVY082O) in a densly populated area where there is both hotels and places of work. These masts should be planned better and not placed whrre they can effect people!
GillianLydenKensworthGBThere should also ne an investigationinto the so-called 'anecdotal' evidence - the epidemiology (usual symptoms found) near mobile phone masts. This would prove what nrpb pretends to look for in the lab and which is impossible to replicate therein! Gill Lyden

MariaEarnshawMeolsGBIn the words of - Dr Robert O. Becker – twice nominated for the Nobel Prize “I have no doubt in my mind that at the present time, the greatest polluting element in the earth’s environment is the proliferation of electromagnetic fields. I consider that to be far greater on a global scale, than warming, and the increase in chemical elements in the environment.’’ www.wirralbuzz.com

AnonymousAnonymousFavershamGBMobile phones actually save lives. The emissions from the masts are negligible. Please read latest World health organisation report (2006). People object to everything these days but they all have phones, even their children. Very hypocritical!
SimonBarwickgoring by seaGBThey are going to try to put one of these things on the inside of our church spire! St Marys Church, Goring By Sea.No,No,No,No.
GillianLydenDunstableGBSome residents in Kenswoerth have suffered serious symptoms since Sept. 2001 when an Orange mast was erected in our village. 2pets have died of cancer - some live, but suffer frequent small tumours on paws, neck etc. There is growing evidence of more and more people suffering further and further from the mast. Recently a flurry of activity around teh control box of the mast has resulted in fluctuations in the severity of effects- I am sensitive to EMR and feel ill in teh homes affected, the severity of my symptoms depending on the orientation of each home to the mast. It is now impossible for me to stay in two of teh hpouses because I feel so ill. I also feel dizzy in the street now, which has never happened before! A year ago, Orange asked permission to have a 3G mast - no objection from the Parish Council, so perhaps tbis is what is happening. Gill Lyden

marionwallisbromleyGBi am appalled with my government ministers on this issue. the way things stand now I have ZERO confidence in the government to protect its citizens , the children and the unborn children, wildlife and plantlife from catastrophic damage from an unprecedented level of radiation in our environment which has been allowed to occur by the ignorance of the government and the telcoms industry
PeterPrestonWimbledon ParkGBIts a disgrace that it can take months for a council to approve a small extension to a property but will allow, with no planning permission, the installation of a huge radiation emitting mast in a residential area.
RSpeechleyBrockleyGBThe precautionary principle should apply. The mobile phone industry should have to prove safety, we should not have to prove it is dangerous.
DebraBarkerBarnetGBWe currently have a mast instalation which we are objecting to
AnonymousAnonymousLondonGBThis is insanity. The residents should have a say in what in emitted through their bodies in their homes

AnonymousAnonymousConnah's QuayGBWe built our own house prev. with a field to the rear knowing there was planning permission for 2 dwellings. We left because Flintshire C. Council allowed 9 houses too be built and trees pulled down for access. Just moved to our new property to be told a mobile phone mast is to be erected in our road, again Flintshire C. Council.

KatieFewingsHoveGBPutting profit above health seems a very short-sighted approach... but one that the Government seems to take quite regularly. People before profit!
AnonymousAnonymousglasgowGBi object to portaster mast ,location near my home. sited on footway south of colston rd, and ashgill rd. belongs to t. mobile both my wife and self feel unwell since activated. apparantly nppg states it is not necessary for planning authorities to treat- emmissions as a material consideration. question why not????????

AnonymousAnonymousLondonThis government must put a stop to the indiscriminate siting of mobile phone masts.
PeterPrestonLondonGBCurrent legislation is in direct contractiction to the ideals of a democracy. The rights of operators to trample over those of those of citizens is more appropriate to a dictatorship than a democratic country. Our health is being made secondary to profit and tax revenues.
heatherjenkinscrosbyGBMy parents have an eleven foot mast being put up seven feet away from their house; this measurment is precise and nobody was given the chance to object. The man in charge is a solicitor and it is his building so he feels no one has any say other than himself. He is behaving obnoxiously, slamming the phone down on anyone who enquires regarding the mast and I wonder whether his position as a solicitor will only make our fight harder!

RACHELROBINSONLEEDSGBI am currently campaigning to be rid of the masts on the roof of my LA property in Leeds. The council are sneaky as on sitefinder website we are registered as having two 02 sites here, yet 02 are subletting to other companies so there are about 5 actual masts on this roof. In direct line with a school. Constant humming noise. Please do not be fooled by the blurb given out. No significant risk does not mean there is NO risk. The Stewart report says there are 'subtle effects' on the brain. And about this comparison to microwaves, its rubbish! microwaves function at 40v/m and one mast is 195v/m. who has their microwave on 24hrs a day? there is just no comparison and its a company smokescreen to get people to think these masts are safe. we will only know what the masts have done to us in the future when its not being covered up. i already have cancer and i beleive it has something to do with the masts. the council in leeds get over £410,000 for putting masts on residential buildings, pretending it is for public demand. Since when has any council given into public demand when there is no renumeration involved. The council sent someone to listen to the continual humming noise emmitted through the roof and tried to blame it on the fans. the worker also said he had hearing problems so this shows the level of stupidness i am dealing with in my fight to get rid of the masts.
