Apart from the usual payments i.e. child tax and child benifit i get no other help phsical or finical. I have today visted my M.P to ask why people get paid to look after their own children in the form of carers allowence and we as grandparents get nothing for caring for our grandchildren which if we were not looking after would cost the goverment billions to keep these children in care. I feel very strongly on this subject as i know of people whom claim carers allowence yet look after their child alot less time then i am caring for my grandson |
