We are starting this to petition Governor George Pataki to remove Erie County Executive Joel Giambra from office. We need to show the Governor that we as citizens of Erie County believe that Joel Giambra is not only incompetent at running our county, but also that he does so in a fashion that we citizens believe to be fraudulent. We need to get a clear message across to the Governor that we will not stand for this anymore. We are aiming for approximately 75% of Erie County Residents to sign this petition. We don't think that getting this many signatures will be a problem. We need to have as many of you sign this by March 30, 2005. Please e-mail this page to ALL of your friends and relatives. We need to stop this madness. We cant afford any more tax increases as well as a leader who would rather tax us to DEATH then lay off any of his political appointees who right now retain positions working for the county making as much as 100K in positions that never existed before Joel Giambra came to office. GET THE WORD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
****Deadline has been pushed back to April 30, 2005. |
